Birthday Card

I made a card using these colors.

I needed a boy birthday card so I had to figure out how to make it look boyish. Lol! I used Stampin' Up! cardstock soft suede for the card base, crushed curry for the layer on top. To color the greenery I used Stampin' Write markers in Mossy Meadow, the monkey and tree trunk are colored in Blendabilities light Crumb Cake and Bronze. The Happy Birthdays are stamped in Real Red and Pumpkin Pie ink. The stamp set is an Amuse Studio set. In all of my buying I haven't bought a children's Stampin' Up! stamp set yet. I need one. The feet at the bottom of the card is a retired Stampin' Up! roller stamp.

So here is the card:

The Stampin' Up! supplies are listed below. If you would like to purchase any just click on the image of that item.

Creative Blog Hop

Hello, Thanks for visiting my blog!

Did you stumble upon me through our blog hop?

I was invited to participate by fellow SU team member & Demonstrator,
Pam Allen from The Serial Stamper

I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I love what I do.
You can visit my site by clicking right here:

I hope you enjoy and share my blog.

Here are four questions that go along with this blog hop to help you know a bit more about me:

 1. What are you working on?

Image result for scrapbook bingo
Right now I am working on Scrapbook Bingo.
I am in a group on the diet site Sparkpeople.com
We are playing Scrapbook Bingo for Valentines weekend. Today is Monday but a holiday so we are going through today.

2. How does your work differ from others in your genre?
I would call my style "clean and simple".
I don't feel that I am real creative. I like to have a sketch or some kind of guide to go by. I have a hard time coming up with ideas on my own. If I do a project without a guide, believe me, it is simple. LOL!

3. Why do you create what you do?
I love crafting!!! Its like a cool breeze to me. I can get in my craft-room and forget everything. Its my stress relief.

 4. How does your creative process work?
Most of the time I find a stamp set I want to use.
I then will look on Pinterest for other projects with that set to get an idea of what I want to do.
I love to CASE a project as close a possible.

Here is my project for this blog hop:
CASE'd from Pinterest.

I used SU cardstock: "Mossy Meadow", "Night of Navy" and "Whisper White",
DSP: All Abloom" and stamp set: "A Happy Thing",
Blendabilities: "Night of Navy", "Old Olive", "Crumb Cake", "Pink Pirouette" and "Cherry Cobbler".

Virtual Crop

What is a Virtual Crap, you ask?

An online crop is an event hosted by the Creative Team

members incorporating scrapbooking, games, challenges, PRIZES,

chatting with other members and all around FUN! The point of an

online crop is to get active and we encourage you to participate in

the many games and challenges.

Hello everyone!

I just want to let you know that I host a virtual crop once a month

on facebook. We get together online and scrapbook. You at your

home, me at mine. As we finish a page we take a picture and

upload it to the facebook group. Oh, by the way, the group I'm

talking about is Becca's Scrapbook Room. Run on over to that

group and ask to join.

I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator so therefore the winner will

receive a few Stampin' Up! items. Oh, Yes! I forgot to tell you. As

you answer each question and complete each challenge your name

gets put in the drawing. It's up to you how many questions and

challenges you complete. At the end of the crop I will draw a

name. Also when the crop event is posted on Facebook your

name gets put in the drawing for every $5.00 you spend in my

Stampin' Up! store. But please go back to the event page and let

me know you ordered.

Here are some layouts I did at the crop.

I would love to have you join me in the group and in the crops.

Thank you!

Becca
